Photos all obtained via FOIA request to HPD.
On September 26, 2016, 46-year-old Nathan DeSai, wearing a vintage Nazi style uniform, started firing at random cars from the sidewalk near his apartment complex in West University Place, near Houston, Texas with a handgun. 10 people were injured, 7 from gunfire and 3 from shattered glass, before he was shot and killed by responding police after a 30 minute shootout.
Background on DeSai:
He helped restart a Jewish frat while at the University of Houston in the late 80s, when his name was Niren. He legally changed his name to Nathan in 2001 so his name could "sound more American" after 9/11. He became a lawyer in the Houston area and owned his own law firm for 12 years before it shut down in February for economic reasons. In the weeks leading up to the shooting, he allegedly pointed an "assault style weapon", which I can only assume is the Thompson submachine gun, at roofers working on the complex and sending an email to the complex's managers, in which he said he would "intimidate" his way into ensuring water pressure problems at his unit were fixed.
More on his background.
Photos from where he was shot and killed. Includes photos of his body:

Photos from his condo:
