Little known now. At least 2 dead, perhaps more. Several injured. They say 2 shooters (but they always say that)

This image was shown on the news; looks like a security guard, and not the perp. The perpetrator's status is unclear.

It has been a while since any big attack targeted at Muslims in the United States.

Edit: Perps identified. For once, there were 2 shooters.

Guard confirmed killed. Up to 4 dead apparently, 2 shooters killed per NBC (maybe the only dead, killed after a standoff according to witnesses). 30 shots total in two bursts of 20 by automatic rifle per witness on CBS. Also, the FBI is investigating so probably a hate crime. Random on Reddit says 3 victims died.

Three victims died per SDPD. The two suspects shot themselves in their car per CNN & confirmed by SDPD, ruled hate crime per SDPD. FBI says the shooters are 17 and 19.
 
Tarrant copycat, one of the suspects left a suicide note at their parents' house (so the 2 suspects didn't know one another) per CNN. Per NYT one of the rifles belonged to said suspects parents (I saw a casing that looked like a hunting shotgun in one photo). Also per CNN and NYT they scribbled the words "hate speech" on their rifle. Manifesto in the car that they shot themselves in per NYT. JFL in the big '26
 
From the police scanner: Cain Clark (dob 7/10/2008) was driving a 2018 BMW X1 SUV California plate 8AFE510, he wrote the note and stole a 9mm handgun, a shotgun, and a Mini-14 from his house, Clark's parents called 911 before the shooting. I just confirmed that the car (VIN WBXHU7C34J5H38979, purchased last March) was registered to Clark's parents' via California DMV website.

He went to Madison High School per NBC.
