God Told Me To (1976)

Wholly original. This movie has the most demented pacing of any work of fiction I have ever seen. The first 75% is a thriller about some mysterious force forcing people to commit mass murder. The last 25% is bizarre genderfuck alien incest. This isn't good, but it is something.
Spree (2020)

Wholly original. This film is very unique but I don't know if I would call it good. It's a bit corny in the way all films that are really about the internet are, but it did sort of hit an earnest ground that most don't manage. I'm not sure if I like it, the protagonist does not feel like a human being at all. That might be the point. This film is rather prophetic of the Christchurch shooting, with how the MC basically forms a murder cult on 4chan and the reaction to the livestream. I believed it finished filming the month prior to Christchurch, though I'd bet they altered some stuff after. The MC reminds me most of Randy Stair mixed with Elliot Rodger, particularly the way he stands and presents himself is really reminiscent of Roger. The actor really nails the soulless, dead eyes. The in-universe news articles are really realistic (all the stuff about saying the victims' names).
