"The person who opened fire on a Catholic Church Wednesday has been identified to KTTC’s sister station in the Twin Cities KARE 11.
The shooter was 23-year-old Robin, formerly Robert Westman, law enforcement sources told KARE 11 investigative reporter A.J. Lagoe.
KARE 11 is also reporting sources said Westman grew up in Richfield and that his mother was an employee at Annunciation School.
Court documents show when he was 17, Westman applied to change his birth name from Robert to Robin in Dakota County. That request was granted in January 2020."
