I read that a year or so ago. Very odd to me that it has the fanbase it has, but very good event horizon is a very good film as well.

My favorite film is Westworld. I've never seen the TV show based on it but the film is great even if a bit janky. Very 70s. I like sci-fi movies a ton, Forbidden Planet is v v good. sci fi anything is a++, even if it sucks its usually charming
